Abstract: The article analyzes the main processes of modeling the Bragg grating, the spectral characteristics of the fiber-optic grating. The inverse problem method was used to solve some of the parameters of this model, which were determined based on the observed values and results. It is concluded that measurements with high variance have little effect on the result. Thus, for direct measurements with an error of the Gaussian distribution, mean zero and variance, the criterion of the least squares method is differently not equivalent to the criterion of the maximum likelihood method.
Key words: Bragg gratings, temperature, model.
