Abstract: This article, using the example of the historical and cultural heritage of "Avesta", reveals the special attention of our ancestors since antiquity to the protection of the environment, native land, protection of plants, notes the need to use their rich cultural heritage in the field of ecology in the formation of the ecological culture of youth. The rich spiritual heritage of our ancestors in this area is an important source for the development of the ecological culture of the citizens of our country at the present time.
