Abstract: The article summarizes the literature information on the origin, distribution of broccoli, its botanical classification, features of growth and development, requirements for the main environmental factors of nutritional value and therapeutic and preventive properties. It also contains literary information and the results of the author's own research on the selection of hybrids suitable for re-culture, and the establishment of the optimal and last planting period during cultivation in the summer-autumn period.
