Abstract: This article analyzes the meaning and role of dialectical laws and categories in teaching the phenomena of the microcosm, including the phenomena studied in the course of nuclear physics. The methodological problems of teaching the theory of wave – particle dualism from the physical and philosophical point of view are analyzed.
